James W. Stevenson Grave Marker

This grave marker, which is at Hackensack Cemetery, located at 289 Hackensack Avenue Hackensack,
New Jersey, reveals that James W. Stevenson served in the U.S. Marines during World War II and died on October 13, 1993 at the age of 73.

James W. Stevenson was not on the Original Wall Unit List, which is in Hackensack High School, but this confirms his connection to Hackensack by being buried within its borders since passing and forevermore.

There is a “James Stevenson” listed on the Original Wall Unit, but it does not have the middle initial “W”,
so I have no way of knowing for certain if this is the same person at the present time.  There is also a
Bernice Stevenson, who is listed on the Original Wall Unit, but I have no way of knowing if they are related at the present time also.
